® Instructor
Alison has worked in the fitness industry for almost 10 years and
holds certifications in aerobics, nautilus training and, her true love,
Spinning®. An elementary school librarian, Alison earned a BA in English
from Boston College as well as a secondary educating teaching certificate. She
loves children and dogs - especially Soft-Coated Wheaten Terriers - reading,
cycling (for fun, nothing competitive!) hiking (but not camping!), walking her
dog Lola, spending time with her family and friends, shopping (which, she says,
becomes an aerobic activity in the right company! ) and music. Alison has been
an active Spinning program instructor for 6 years, and she loves the idea of
combining a high-intensity but low-impact workout with inspiring and motivating
music.

Amy Watzke B.S cPT Amy is in her third year of instructing and motivating clients in all-level Spinning classes in a variety of fitness environments. Also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, Amy believes that exercise is really a journey, not a final destination. When asked what she most enjoys about working with clients in a small group fitness environment, Amy notes that motivating clients to uncover within themselves the determination to meet new challenges is atop the list. She adds that she takes great pleasure in guiding and assisting her clients on their journey to greater overall physical health and wellness. Amy holds a Bachelors degree in biology and has more than 5 years of experience working in the cardiovascular medical device industry. Back to Top
Nancy Plympton Spinning ® Instructor Nancy made aerobics and strength training a regular part of her lifestyle for 15 years before becoming an instructor in 2001. People who knew her back in her high school days can hardly believe this; she skipped gym class so many times she almost failed to graduate. But all’s well that ends well - she did graduate from high school, going on to receive a graduate degree in lighting design, and learning, along the way, to cherish her workout. As a certified Star 2 Instructor, Nancy has gone beyond the basic certification requirements and has taken her training “on a steeper climb”. She is a dedicated Spinning® coach, and especially enjoys mixing and editing music to create rhythmic rides for every level of student. Back to Top
